Mireille is a structured risk & compliance project manager with transversal skills that are an asset for companies facing risk & compliance challenges, internal control needs, remediation plans, and business adaptations to an ever-changing and regulated world. Highly adaptable, well organized, positive, fast learner with a can-do attitude, she finds her motivation in anticipating issues, improving the ways of doing things, challenging the status quo, and among all, in the collaboration with other people.
Since her graduation in 2012 with a Master in Management Science fromSolvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, Mireille has been involved in different roles mainly in the financial sector. She started her career as financial cost controller for Retail & Private Banking at ING Bank, then switched into a project manager role at StateStreet Bank in Grand Duché de Luxembourg.After that, she joined Tradeshift Belgium first as finance & administration manager supporting the CEO on company’s daily management, then followed by a project manager role during the acquisition of the Belgium entity. Finally, she joined Alena Invest as Risk & Compliance Manager implementing remediation plans of NBB.
With the rich and varied experience she had gleaned, Mireille decided in 2022 to start a new journey as freelance consultant with a key focus in delivering compliance, risk and internal control services coupled with a project management approach. Her core competencies include problem solving; gathering and structuring information; projectmanagement, planning & execution; follow-up and implementation of compliance, risk, internal control and regulatory topics; close monitoring; integration of organizational changes and stakeholders’ management.
Mireille is Prince2 foundation certified in project management. She speaks fluently French and English. She loves sports, travelling, music, personal development mindset and among all, spending quality times with her four kids& friends.
